Variety Village is all about personal bests. Variety empowers individuals of all ages and abilities by providing accessible, safe and inclusive fitness, sports and life skills programs.
Variety Village presents the 4th Annual Walk Roll Run fundraising event. This year we've added two fantastic new elements in addition to the 5K & 1K walk/roll - a chipped (timed) 5K (a good opportunity for an end of season time) and a chipped 5K wheelchair race. All routes start at Variety Village and wind through the area neighbourhood.
Money raised will help fund vital programs offered at Variety Village for people with disabilities and their families. Come out and help build a stronger community while achieving your own personal best!

Walk/Roll (5K or 1K) - $35 per person
5K Run & 5K Wheelchair Race - $40 per person
Registration fee includes t-shirt, timing chip (5K run and wheelchair races), snack and refreshments.

“One of the most incredible moments I experienced at Variety Village happened on the climbing wall. A kid was having a difficult time climbing the wall. Everyone was encouraging her to climb and all the other children were getting involved with cheering her on. She finally got to the top, rang the bell and screamed, “I did it, I did it.” This was the first time this student used a full sentence, we were all in tears.”
